Installation Steps

  1. Download & Unzip Tar Installer

    • Download the tar installer from DBaasNow Official Site and saved into Linux /opt/software/: 
      tar -xzf dbaasnow_v*.tar.gz -C /opt/software/

  2. Execute Installation Installer

    • Navigate to the installation directory and run the installer: 
      cd /opt/software/dbaasnow_v*
./install_dbaasnow_standalone
    • The installation process typically takes about 20 minutes; duration may vary depending on your system.

  3. Watch Installation Video Tutorial

Post-Installation

  1. Confirmation

    • Once installation is complete, a confirmation message will indicate successful installation.

  2. Login to DBaasNow Console

    • Copy the Console URL displayed by the installer.
    • Open the URL in any web browser.
    • Use default credentials to login: admin/admin.

  3. Obtain Free Trial License Key

    • Contact info@dbaasnow.com to obtain a free trial license key.
      • Provide details about your installation and system requirements to receive your trial license key promptly.

  4. General Settings Configuration

    • Note: While waiting for the activation key, please refer to the Administration Guide to complete the general settings such as:
      • Add/edit Lifecycle status
      • Add/edit Classification
      • Add/edit Announcement type
      • Add/edit Organization
      • Add/edit Application
      • Add/edit Service credential
      • Update system integration
      • Add new users to meet your organization standard and requirements
