Add Server

Servers can be added to the server pool by specifying details such as server name, type, capacity, and associated configurations. This proactive approach streamlines the process of assigning servers for database provisioning and ensures that resources are allocated optimally based on workload demands.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the "Setup" tab.
  2. Select the "Server Pool" option.
  3. Click the "Add Server" button.
  4. Enter the details as per your server setup requirements:
    • Server Name: Full FQDN unique server name.
    • DB Technology: Choose the technology that you plan to install.
  5. Click the "Create" button.

Edit Server

Existing servers in the server pool can be edited to update details such as capacity, configuration parameters, or deployment specifications. This flexibility enables administrators to adjust server resources dynamically and respond effectively to evolving database provisioning requirements.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the "Setup" tab.
  2. Select the "Server Pool" option.
  3. Click the "Edit" button next to the server you wish to modify.
  4. Update the information as needed:
    • Server Name: Full FQDN unique server name.
    • DB Technology: Choose the technology that you plan to install.
  5. Click the "Apply Changes" button.

Delete Server

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the "Setup" tab.
  2. Select the "Server Pool" option.
  3. Click the "Edit" button next to the server you wish to delete.
  4. Click the "Delete" button.
  5. Click the "OK" button.
