Version Control

The Version Control screen allows you to view, import, download and manage certified versions of supported database technologies within the DBaaSNow platform.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the "Setup" tab.
  2. Select the "Version Control" option.


Import DB Version

Click "Import DB Version" button (top-right) to manually upload or import a new DB binary version for certification.


Multi-Model Databases

  • Displays all versions certified by the DBaaSNow team.
  • Only validated and compatible versions are listed for customer use.
  • If a DB version is not pre-packaged, customers can download it directly from the DB vendor.

    DB Technology Selector

    Use the dropdown to select the database technology. The table lists certified versions with the following details:

    • Source From: Where the version is sourced.
    • Vendor: Database vendor.
    • Version: Specific DB version number.
    • Flavor: OS distribution (e.g., linux).
    • Min OS Version / Max OS Version: Minimum and maximum supported OS versions.
    • Platform: Target platform (e.g., linux).
    • File Name: Binary file name if available.
    • Status: Certification status (e.g., End-Of-Life, Active).
    • Download: Option to download the DB binary package. Click it to download.
    • Last Updated On: Date and time of the last update.
    • Action: Allows you to download or see the download progress.


MongoDB Enterprise

Select "MongoDB Enterprise" tab. Click "Resync From OpsManager" button to fetch the latest MongoDB Enterprise versions. The table lists certified versions with the following details:

  • Source From: Where the version is sourced.
  • Vendor: Database vendor.
  • Version: Specific DB version number.
  • Flavor: OS distribution (e.g., linux).
  • Min OS Version / Max OS Version: Minimum and maximum supported OS versions.
  • Platform: Target platform (e.g., linux).
  • Db File Name: Binary file name if available.
  • Status: Certification status (e.g., End-Of-Life, Active).
  • Last Updated On: Date and time of the last update.
